Tree planting in Israel at Neot Kedumim Park

Neot kedumim is a restored ecological nature reserve. It spread across 625 acres of revived landscape. Here you can find the plants and trees of the land of milk and honey as well as excavated and restored ancient agricultural installations, vineyards and olive groves, water pools, wildlife and breathtaking views.
For decades tree planting in Israel has been the symbol for the revival of the Jewish people in their homeland.
While We acknowledge the deep emotional need to connect and continue this heritage, we are also aware that the right tree should be planted in the right place at the right time.

Thus, the tree planting activity that we offer at Neot Kedumim as an add-on to a guided tour, is symbolic and ceremonial.

It gives you an opportunity to personally connect with the land and by touring here, gain a deeper understanding of the ancient landscape and our efforts to recreate and sustain it. However, the saplings that you will be planting do not necessarily remain in the place you planted them.
We use your donation to plant a variety of new trees under the guidance of experts, who advise on the location and the optimal time of year for each specific tree to be planted. We also carefully maintain and nurture the older trees so they can keep growing and giving.

Everything you see as you tour around the reserve is a result of 50 years of dedication to the vision of reviving the ancient landscape. We thank you for helping us keep that vision alive and flourishing.

Olive Tree – Grove of Light Project

Neot Kedumim has reserved ancient terraces in its ‘Grove of Seven Species’ upon which individually numbered olive saplings are planted. We offer the opportunity to mark the milestones in the lives of your family and friends, by dedicating an olive tree that will be planted in their honor and can grow with them and will forever be their dedicated tree.

Olive trees can be dedicated to celebrate a marriage, the birth of a child, a wedding or Bar/Bat mitzvah, and of course in memory of a loved one. We provide personalized certificates to commemorate the dedication.
