Celebrating the Harvest at Neot Kedumim Park

Celebrating the Harvest at Neot Kedumim Park

Monday, June 10, at 9:00 – Guided Shavuot Tour ( in Hebrew) Prior registration is required!

Neot Kedumim Park is the perfect place to experience Shavuot as our forefathers did in ancient times. A visit to the park is like a step back in time to the Land of the Bible, where you can stroll through the Seven Species area, the fields of wheat and barley, and visit the agricultural facilities.

Celebrating the Harvest at Neot Kedumim Park

Join us for a fascinating tour of the wheat fields and get familiar with the life of harvesters around the threshing floor at this time of the year. Follow their work from harvesting to grinding.

Shavuot is also the time when we received the Torah. During the tour, try out your writing skills with a cane ink pen (kulmus) on parchment.

The tour finishes with a short cooking workshop – baking pita bread, preparing cheese and a herb condiment.
