Foraging tour
Tu Bishvat for families at Neot Kedumim.
In the month of Shvat, nature awakens, and the appetite is stimulated! Neot Kedumim Park invites families to go out into the wild landscape like the ancient inhabitants to collect and cook healthy and nutritious wild plants.
On a guided tour through the paths of the park and the green fields, you get to know the seasonal plants, hear the legends and learn about their nutritional value.
Then we will use our new knowledge and some of the plants we have picked to cook delicious dishes* together on an open fire. The dishes are based on original recipes from ancient Israel: baking pita bread with herbs, brewing herbal infusions and preparing spices for home use.**
*The dishes are a tasting
