Neot Kedumim, the beautiful biblical landscape reserve in Israel, will celebrate its Jubilee this coming year, marking 50 years since its foundation.
I was proud to accept the position of CEO of this organization and consider it a great challenge to increase the awareness of Neot Kedumim’s potential, as a model for strengthening the connection between the powerful landscapes of the bible with our Jewish values.
One of our primary goals is to increase the number of visitors to the reserve, with an emphasis on incoming tourism from across the globe and deeper regional cooperation. Our hope is that this will make Neot Kedumim financially independent.
The Jubilee celebration will be marked by several major events throughout the year the year. The biggest and most important one will be the annual day of study in memory of Noga Hareuveni, z”l, the founder of Neot Kedumim. The educational theme of that seminar will be the preservation of ancient fruit trees, and the seminar will be entitled “From Fruits of the Past to the Table of the Future."
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our friends in Israel and abroad, and to the staff of Neot Kedumim and their families a happy and fruitful New Year of health and happiness.
Director-General, Neot Kedumim
