Shana Tova from Director of Neot Kedumim

6 September 2011

Dear Friends,

In an effort to further strengthen our connections with friends and supporters of Neot Kedumim abroad, this year we began a partnership with the Jewish National Fund (JNF) in America and with their help have established a ceremonial tree planting center for visitors to Neot Kedumim.

The planting of a tree in the Land of Israel is a very moving activity which symbolizes the depth of the roots of our people in the Holy Land.  So far this year, thousands of saplings have already been planted at the site.

Over the past year the Middle East has experienced many changes which at this stage nobody can really know what the long-term ramifications will be.

Feeling a sense of partnership with friends from around the world provides us with the encouragement and the strength to meet the challenges which we see rising before us in these uncertain times.

Our wish for all of our friends and for the Jewish people is that 5772 will be a good year, a year with "rains in their proper seasons', a year of growth and security for us all.

Sincerely yours on behalf of the staff of Neot Kedumim,

Shlomo Teitelbaum,
Executive Director, Neot Kedumim
